The Samsung Galaxy S3 is a midrange phone and is a light device. It has a removable battery cover. The S3 gets an edge in the competition, as it is available at a slightly lower price. The Nexus 7 has a good grippy texture to the back, but the back cannot be easily opened. However, the Nexus 7 has a great screen resolution, with bright colors and display, whereas the S3 screen resolution is quite disappointing. Both the devices have the usual Wi Fi and the Bluetooth, but the Nexus 7 also has the latest 4.0 Bluetooth, whereas the S3 uses the standard 3.0.
